I fell in love with the HTC One Max. The price for the One Max, One and M8 are all about the same.

depending on your preferences, any HTC can be labeled as the best, if you like full QWERTY keyboards, there's the TILT, PRO, PRO2 and FUZE.......touch screen MyTouch, Diamond, Fuze.......I think HTC makes awesome phones

You really need to know if you want a physical keyboard or not. HTC has some phones that have physical keyboards, and of those, I prefer the HTC Touch Pro2. This phone is packed with everything you want and more, plus it has a huge keyboard that is awesome to type on. It's a bit bulky, but you'll get used to it.

If you want a thinner phone from HTC, go with one that has a virtual keyboard like the Hero. I don't like these because it's harder for me to type, but it's a nice phone that runs Google Android.

The major drawback with HTC phones is battery life. I haven't had one HTC phone that had great battery life. You will be lucky to average 4 hours of talk time.

can't really say which is the best. Each phone is good at its own way, the price tag will match the features. If price is not a factor, defintely the upcoming touch HD2

The Hero looks nice. No physical keyboard though. Looking forward to reviews once it's actually released. I never trust pre-release reviews.

Well I think the network shouldn't make the phone, but thats my opinion. I would have to say I have used 3 different HTC models, and I find the most functional that I have used to be the G1 from T-Mobile. Its been the best out of what I have used. Price was good, 200 used with no contract extension... its functionable, uses on screen keyboard or physical keyboard, apps galore, and the Android platform is performing very well for me. The quality could be a little better, seems a little flimsy at times, but excellent overall.
