I'm not 100% positive, but I highly doubt it. You're better off looking on ebay

Walmart sells phones without data plans? Are you sure?

This phone does have wi-fi so you can use it on any wi-fi network you have access to.

Hi, I'm new here so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section...

Anyway, I was at the walmart mobile/ cell phone desk yesterday and I noticed the e71x was only $280 without a two year contract. I broke my AT&T A717 last year, and since then I've been using go phones as replacements. I'm not interested in renewing my contract, and from what I've seen *with wifi, 3g, 3.2 mp camera, etc* this is one of the best prices for a phone of that type with no contract.

    Just wondering though-

will this phone work with a home wifi network?
will this phone work without some sort of AT&T data plan?
does anyone have knowledge regarding whether or not walmart will let me buy this phone without having some sort of monthly data plan?

I'm on a family share plan and the only extra things I plan to keep paying for monthly include unlimited text/picture/ video messaging.

Any help is much appreciated. Looking forward to coming back.

    -kevin
