I exchanged my BB8900 and chose the G1 over the Mytouch because of physical keyboard. Although I like the phone, the memory drain concerns me and at times I wonder if i should have paid the extra $$ for the Mytouch 3g.

Some folks have made mentioned of hearing a squeak when they slide open the screen but I've yet to hear it. I like the interface of the phone and IMO getting the extended battery with door is a MUST. I do keep 3g and gps running on my phone though...

I would go with the G! or wait until 2010 for even better devices to come out. We're nearing the end of the year and a lot of new devices are coming for the holiday season.

I read somewhere they are starting to push it out now, and it should be done very soon. Cupcake took about a month IIRC, so just be patient for now.

The myTouch emits some of the highest levels of radiation legal in the United States...just keep that in mind.

I went to a touch screen and I will say it did take some getting used to, and missing buttons is still a problem at times, and conditions, but I prefer it to having a non touch screen phone now, its just so much easier to use for many different things.

As for the G1 or the My Touch, I don't know that I could ever not have a physical keyboard, because every time I try to type with out it on my G1, I mess up half of it, and it takes me 3x as long, but thats a personal thing.

From what I have herd the My Touch has more battery life and space where G1 has the flip out. I will be getting one of these and i cant for the life of me make up my mind x_x I just don't know if I will get used to a touch screen because I went into aT&T and tried it and i kept missing the dang buttons >.< idk is it a getting used to kind of thing? what do you think for those of you that have these phones?
