    There is a new tool available for exchanging VCards by SMS for BB users using the same protocol as Nokia. A friend of mine developed it, I used it and I think it's a useful tool. Here are some info for those interested in it:

    SMS VCard Add-on enables interoperability with Nokia and you can save on the BlackBerry all VCards received in SMS and send contacts using SMS. Due to SMS size restriction only name, phone and email are sent by SMS.

    The "SMS VCard Add-on" is the most simple application (and useful) that fits the existing Blackberry menus and operates with minimal intrusion and overhead.

    The app. is available for $1.99 on mobihand store and its channels.
