How can I get my phone to see the music?

When you're transferring the data, you need to send only the music files over and NOT the folders they're in. Just the song files need to be in the my_music folder and they can not be in any subfolders under my_music that are typically album names. Then when you do the scan, it will see them and reindex them. Long story short ... no sub folders or the scan won't see the song files. It's just the way it is ... take it up with Samsung.

You can do a search on *.mp3 and/or *.wma on the root folder of your source to get them out of the sub folders all at once and then copy/move them to your micro card in the phone. Hope this helps.
