I got this phone back in early July of 2010 when it was time to get a phone upgrade, my mind was set and i wanted to get the Droid Incredible....little did i know oh hey, its pushed back cause of the battery (i don't care about the battery, i can deal with it...) so the sales guy, mr. big hotshot... said oh you should get this phone, it can do this and that, blah blah blah....so i did, i loved it til about 3 weeks ago when it started acting weird....the home screen would just fling itself all the way to the left and not want to go back to the middle where all my stuff was and it would put the cursor in the middle of the previous word that i had just typed up (it would kinda do somethlikeing this)....then today while at work it really spazzed out, the touch keyboard would just say i was hitting the settings, space, comma, everything on the bottom row, and i wasn't even touching the screen, then it would go into my contacts and do other stuff like the damn thing was possessed!!! i then took the battery out for a second, put it back in, turned it on, then cleared my internet stuff, cookies, history, cache, etc....then it started acting fine for a few hours....then when i was finishing paperwork and using the calculator it started acting up again....im a bit wary about wanting to keep this phone any longer....im just on the verge of just taking it back...get whatever i can and probably and hopefully get a droid incredible, droid X, or even an iPhone......just a bit of advice....never EVER listen to the salesperson with the gelled up hair...

I've had this phone a month and have had several problems. First, the google maps function is horrible. I live in central Ohio and it frequently has me located in North Carolina and Texas. On several occasions when I've tried to reply back to text messages it has sent the text to different people in my contact list. The touch response is often incorrect. For instance, I'll touch the right side of the screen and a button on the left will get selected. In addition, different features do not always respond appropriately. When selecting someone from my favorites window the default task does not always occur.

I really like the features of this phone when it's working properly but there are way to many glitches... maybe a function of it being so new?

Love the phone for the most part, BUT - I work in Portland, Maine and it thinks I'm in Portland, Oregon! I've been to Verizon twice about this and they temporarily fixed it - until I go back to work the next day. HTC doesn't offer any 'fix' for this at the moment, but I know I'm not the only one with the issue - same with Concord, NH/Concord, CA. I guess west coast is the only side of the country that counts with them!

Also, it's way too easy to hit the volume button on the side, especially in the car stand.

I like the touch screen. Battery lasts a long time for me but I don't have tons of apps on it (yet).
