Bell and telus simcard will work on a Rogers,Fido and Telus phone that supports 3g, if it only runs on edge those simcards will not work.

Rogers, Fido, and Chatr are all interchangeable.

Wind, Mobilicity simcards will only work on the Phones will support the same bandwidth, for example an unlocked rogers iphone will not work with a Wind or Mobilicity simcard, make sure to find out if the phone is compatible before you use it.

    Hope that helps!

    Bites.

Kood doesn't charge anything to transfer a line from non-sim to sim-based.

Assuming the Rogers phone is 3G., yes absolutely.

Solo is charging me $35 to transfer my phone number from my cdma phone to a sim card. Could i then use the solo sim with an unlocked rogers phone?

I have just unlocked my nokia e71 frm the Rogers network but I still can't find any network operators. I tried the manual and the automatic and still i can't connect to tmobiile. Also the phone keeps soft resetting itself. Everything works fine but I cannot connect to T-Mobile to call or text message. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Virgin and Solo are CDMA, so you cannot use an unlocked Rogers GSM/HSPA phone with them.

Rogers uses SIM card technology, so if you unlock their phones you can use it with other providers throughout the world that also supports SIM card technology.

    Rogers, Fido support SIM cards.

While Koodo, Telus, Bell does not.
I'm not so sure about Virgin and Solo Mobile.

Hey I was wondering can you use a rogers phone on any canadian network or just rogers if you unlock it? Cause I like the rogers phones but the prepaid plans suck so I wanted to go on Solo cause their plans are pretty good
