Hey there,

You must have that number absolutely correct to generate your unlocking code. Every unlocking code is generated from the IMEI number. Every phone has a different IMEI so each code will be different.

Most people don't have any idea what the IMEI number is for their phone. All you do is take the battery out and look for a series of 15 numbers located by a bar code. That's it. Some phones make even that unnecessary because you can either find it in your settings or enter *#06# and get it. Just write it down carefully
