I know this is old thread, but I wanna share my experience.
On your BlackBerry, go to m.google.com/sync and download the Google Sync app. Open the app and sign in with a Google account (work if you have one, home if you don’t). Select ‘Sync’ and your BlackBerry contacts will be synced with your Google account.

You backed up to Outlook; just export Outook contacts to a file and import to Gmail.
Then sync your Droid to Gmail.

Try Google sync on the Blackberry. Turn off the Blackberry...
    Code:
    http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/
Then sync the HTC to your gmail account

You can just turn wifi on a blackberry and sync up with gmail.

Thanks for the information. It was highly useful. Its great to have a site like this that has correct information when the carrier who sells the phone sends incorrect information because they really have no clue about the new devices.

    • This will be a lot easier if you sync your BlackBerry with gmail BEFORE activating your Droid
    • Download this Google app to sync your BlackBerry with Gmail: Google Sync on your mobile phone
    • Check your Gmail account to make sure everything is loaded into it.
    • Activate your Droid
    • Hook up your gmail account - make sure sync is set to on
    • All done - your contacts are now on your new Droid
Thanks John. What do I do if I went to the store and activated my Droid prior to backing the numbers up on Gmail?? Help please.
