I found out what has to be done when that happens:

The phone has to be replaced. To anyone who reads this, you have to tell them that you saw something about the battery not working, and if your phone is under warranty still, they will replace it for you.

I haven't been to the verizon store yet, but i have the same message, except i just left it out as usual when i go to sleep.

To give some background: i work at a paper handling plant (USA Today's Mailroom if your interested in knowing exact), I'm not the nicest person when it comes to electronics meaning the phone has taken quite a bit of abuse (not throwing across the room though), and its been through its share of hard times and harsh conditions (been in the bathroom with me when i took a shower, always covered up, and its been in the car when its been snowing out).

Its the Nokia 6205 model, the non-special edition one when the Dark Knight edition was available.

This is a brand new phone. My husband left it in the bathroom, took a shower, and that was it. We took it to the Verizon store and they said it needed a new battery. They wanted $50 for the battery so I bought one online. However, even with the new battery in, this same message displays: "Temperature Abnormal So Power off Executed."

Since it's not the battery, what else could it be? We've left it open to dry for over a week now and no luck.
