It sounds like Summer 2010 will be the timeframe for T-mobile and other network providers opening up to iPhone.

I've been using my iPhone (Jailbroken) 1g on the 'T' since I got it 2 years ago...no probs. They even have a support tech program in place for 'unique' phones that do not originate from their sales base (Like my a1200rb Motoming.), and have helped me a couple times with data/tethering issues. Who'd a thunk it?

It would probably be a good idea since T-Mobile already carries the GSM/HSDPA and won't have to make the iPhone a special case in this matter.

Using and unlocked iphone is ok unless you really need the use of 3G. Otherwise you would just be EDGE-ing since the iphone doesn't work yet on T-mobile USA's 3G. T-mobile USA uses 1700/2100 for 3G and the iphone currently does not support it. Maybe the next iphone will.

Haha, I doubt it. Anyways, just hack your iPhone to work with T-Mobile.
