Hi Comp- Interesting that the M1 has it... Here's what I have found... Sprint and Sanyo have no idea about anything. They are so dumb- ALL of them. MY dumb self called each multiple times and asked many different people and none of them knew. There is a guy at my local store who I bet will know but I keep missing him. I also wrote Sascha - can't remember his last name but he's the guy who wrote the article I am sending the link for. He didn't know much else. So... I went to the Sanyo website, went to "older models" and phone by phone, went through the manuals. I went to index and if my buddy was in the index, I assumed it was on that phone....However, I don't think the M1 was on my list. Maybe I missed it- it took forever to go through all those manuals!! I have ordered 3 phones so far on ebay- 8100- alien, 8200- polar bear, and 7300- dog. I know the 8300- kangaroo, 7500- elephant, 7400 mouse are next to buy. Here is my question.... there is also a dog on the 4500 and 5500 a mouse on the 9000 and something on the 5600. Are the dog, mouse and now the polar bear on the M1 the same dog, mouse and bear that are on the 8200, 9000, and 5500? What does your bear do? Hula hoop, eat a fish, dig through snow and sometimes come out with a big pumpkin head? I hope they are the same because I don't want to buy 8 zillion different phones. My "M1" has the Polar Bear also. Do you have any updated information about any of the other phones?

Hello- I am sorry for posting something so inane..... Does anyone out there know which buddies are on which Sanyo phones? I know the 8100 had the alien, the 8200 had the polar bear, the 8300 had a kangaroo and the 7500 had an elephant. I am pretty sure there is also a dog and a mouse. Do you know which phones had them?? Are there other characters I am missing? Also, someone said they are bringing this feature back soon. Has anyone else heard this?? One last thing... Where can I download animation similar to the My Buddy?? Thanks guys and gals, J
