The Motorla Brute has just been released by Sprint Nextel and comes as a rugged push to talk clamshell handset. The rugged Brute meets all Military Specification 810F which includes dust, shock, low temp, vibration, high temp, low pressure, solar radiation, salt, humidity, fog, and blowing rain.

Users can create groups of up to 20 people to send PTT messages all at the same time. The Brute connects to Nextel's Direct Connect and Group Messaging that allows this to happen. Other features of the Motorola Brute are: 2.0-megapixel camera with flash, large internal and external color displays, GPS navigation, rubberized housing, music and stereo Bluetooth.

Sprint customers can grab this phone for $120 on a 2 year contract.
