Bluetooth 3.0 will be making its way to the Samsung S8500 later on this year. The Samsung S8500 will be the first handset to receive this new technology. Just as an update the Samsung S8500 will feature an AMOLED 3.1 touchscreen with Touchwiz interface with quad-band EDGE/GPRS and come with 3G. Confirmed is that it’s a 3.1″ touchscreen with AMOLED and Touchwiz interface.

The Bluetooth 3.0 will provide faster transfer speeds of 24 Mbps compared to the already 3 Mbps and will use 802.11 standard for the transport of high speed. An exact date has not been set.
