So, I know that the sidekicks have had plenty of controversy over whether or not they will work with any GSM carrier other than T-Mobile. I'm more than familiar with all the arguments for and against this issue.

    My question(s) are:

    1. Some people do manage to get the Sidekick (Unlocked) to work with other carriers, but only for voice & text and some only for voice. Is there ANYONE out there who is actually using their sidekick with a sim card which is not from T-Mobile? If so, What's the results?

    2. If you were to attempt using an unlocked sidekick with another carrier, would you say you'd have better luck with a newer model of the sidekick (ie. lx, 2009, newest lx) or an older sidekick model (ie. Sidekick II or III) ?

    3. Bell's new HSPA network is similar to GSM since they now use SIM cards for some phones. Since the sidekick is a GSM phone, if you were able to use the sidekick on a foreign carrier would it work with a SIM card from an HSPA network?
