I am looking for a LG Dare VX9700. I had that happen to a client of mine. Dropped his Blackberry in the toilet. I opened it up, rinsed it out well with water, then let it air dry in front of a fan for a couple of days. That was six months back, and he's still using it. I think the key is to get to it immediately. Either get it cleaned up right then, or at least get the battery out to prevent electrolyisis between exposed traces and such. I got to his within a few minutes.

If it's been three days for yours, I suspect that whatever damage is already done. Have you got insurance on it without a prohibitive deductible?
