Acer's new Android smartphone, the Acer beTouch E110, has recently been approved by the FCC and is compatible with AT&T’s 3G network (850 / 1900 MHz).

Whether it will be launched by AT&T is still unknown, but it could possible be launched by Rogers as the Acer Liquid e, which would be launched in Canada.

Some of the features of the Acer beTouch E110 are: Android 1.5, a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, social networking integration, Acer web widgets, 3.2MP camera, 256MB ROM, 256MB RAM, and a ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor at 416 MHz.

March is the expected launch date for the Acer beTouch E110 for Europe. Price has not been announced.
