I found this on the forum:
"...I was having problems with two new Samsung Intensity (U450) phones from Verizon. After going round and round and seeing a severe case of finger pointing, I finally have a resolution from the SYNC people. They aknowledge that there are some issues with some Samsung phones and it is related to AUTODOWNLOAD of the PHONEBOOK. Here is what they say....

When PAIRing a phone, DO NOT do the AUTODOWNLOAD of the phonebook.

After pairing, go into PHONESETUP and turn the AUTODOWNLOAD feature OFF

It is then OK to manually download the phonbook, if desired....."

I was having the same type of problem with my Ford Sync using a Samsung SCH-r500 Hue R500

I paired my phone with my 2010 Santa Fe and the minute it says "connection complete" the phone shuts itself off and I am not able to use it while in the car. It happens over and over again rendering the phone useless. Any suggestions? Thanks! Jan
