I can confirm that I connect to my wireless N router with 2.2.

Yeah I heard that this support might come, but we won't get the radio feature which is also on the chip with WiFi N

Wi-Fi 801.11n will be coming to the Google Nexus One sometime soon with possibility of Android 2.2 upgrade. Not yet enabled, the Broadcom Wi-Fi chip is said to be already included in the Google Nexus One handset and supports the 801.11n.

The difference between Wi-Fi 801.11 and other Wi-Fi's is that the Wi-Fi 801.11 has a data speed of up to 600Mbps instead of the 54Mbps. Wi-Fi 801.11 is expected to enable once the Android 2.2 upgrade becomes available for the handset.
