Two new OtterBox cases have been announced by OtterBox and they are the OtterBox Impact and the OtterBox Commute cases. The smartphones that these cases are compatible with are the LG, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung smartphones in the form of the Impact and Commuter series.

The Otterbox Impact series provides a stylish look as well as total protection to your smartphone. The case is made of durable silicone exterior as well as a protective inner core that comes with drops, hard use and bumps. To protect the screen of your smartphone, the Impact series case comes with a self adhering screen protector to prevent any scratches.

The Commuter Series has three layers of protection with a self adhering screen protector to safeguard against scratches. It has a silicone mid-layer and a hard polycarbonate exterior. The silicone mid-layer protects your phone from dirt, dust and debris by protecting the corners and the ports of your phone.

Before attaching the self adhering protective screen cover, you will need to use the microfiber cleaning cloth that comes with the cases and before installing the card. All the buttons on the phone can be used while using the cases.

The Commuter Series are made for Motorola Cliq, Nokia N97 mini and Samsung Behold II.
The Impact Series is made for the LG Touch Chocolate.
Price for the Commuter Series case is $34.95 and $19.95 for the Impact series cases.
