    Hey guys,
I found a really easy solution to transferring music to my Rogue. Try texting your .MP3 from you email. Send to [email protected].

Then, go back to menu, settings & tools, USB Mass Storage and plug in the USB cable. Now open "my computer and you should see a new "removable device". There you can drag and drop items to the appropriate folder.

    Good luck!
Searched all over, but there is no driver for this phone available on the net, nor Samsung website. Only thing available is V-case media manager, available on verizon wireless. Problem: It only supports 32 bit. Which they (verizon wireless ASSociates failed to mention. Who runs 32bit these days? I have to now go serach for friends or collegues who still runs 32bit so that I can use the V-cast media manager to transfer pictures and videos. Who knows if it will work. I will inform if it does. I would not recommend this phone. Too much headache for the money. If you want simple, Iphone linking with Itune. Plug & Play. No searching the net for 3 hours for drivers and forums on how to get a driver. No need to wait in verizon store for another 2 hours, and then hear " Oh~~~ yes. It does not support 64 bit!" But they got me in the store looking at the phones. Hoping maybe I'll upgrade and extend contract. Not today Samsung and Verizon! LOL

First time user. Having same issue with my Windows 7. unable to sync Rogue to PC Media player to load music. any ideas if there are sufficient drivers for Windows 7?
Tried VCast media manager and was unable to load because it required 32 bit?
Not a computer geek, anything simple would be great.

just got off the phone with Verizon. they say that at this point there are NO drivers, but you can send any pictures to the online album and save them to the pc....and so on.
But man, you would think that they would have figured this out by now instead of saying, "oh we will have it in the future"

just worked through this problem. right now you can use the sha U940 driver for your samsung rogue on the verizon site . This driver works well with the windows media player and rhapsody. first upgrade the media player to 11 and reboot then load the driver and reboot they should sync up. this worked well on windows xp and vista ultimate this was done on two P.C.s

Just found this on the Verizon site through a search. What a .... Seems like it's what will have to be done. First timer here ... none of us want to have to recreate the wheel.

Yeah, I'm not getting any luck from ANY of these suggestions. I'd love to be able to use this phone like I did with my Voyager on BitPim, let alone just be able to have full control of it.

I've added music to my card when I use it as the USB HD, but the music is not in the "music" area on the phone - - does it really have to go through the vcast program??

I love this phone, but I'm kind of wishing I hadn't upgraded from the LG Voyager yet...

    Please help/suggest tips!

Can you post the link to the drivers you found, Tomaco?

Yeah, having similar issues here. Running Vista. XP played so nice, but this install wasn't thought out very well. Samsung's site has two things, Vista will prompt, upon not finding drivers, to d/l drivers from Samsung. Installing from IE caused IE to crash. Drivers appears to be included with the 2nd d/l I got directly from Samsung's site, the Samsung PC Studio. But upon install & restart, the software didn't recognize the phone, neither did Vista.

Oh, ha! On connection of phone, I'm promoted "Do you really want the selected applications & it's features?" .... ftl

Will post winning results. Winner gets paid vacation for 2 to Acapulco & a visit to dead-cell-phone landfill of your choice...

You are correct, my advice was only good with a sd card. Thanks for the correction.

Thanks for the response, microtraner, but I think that only applies if you have a microSD in the phone itself.

For some odd reason, the device worked perfectly on a vista computer. I just tried it on my XP desktop and viola! The device worked perfectly. If any of you guys have the same problem (which, I'm assuming you do, considering all the views this topic generated), try this solution. It might not be convenien, but it's something.

Your help is most appreciated though, microtraner.
