Samsung had already planned on launching the Galaxy S to around 110 countries around the world and it has just been officially announced that the U.S. will be one of those countries.

Not much has been mentioned to what carrier will offer the Samsung Galaxy S, but we assume that T-Mobile and AT&T will get their hands of this handset. The exact launch date for the U.S. has not been mentioned but it is expected to launch later on this year.

Europe should already be seeing the Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) and other markets should be getting it soon as well.
