Phones in the US generally don't use simcards - it's a different system. The nearest operator to Europe using the US system is Meditel in Morocco.

well i am on vacation in LA to meet my grand parents and my aunt and phones here are so cheap so i was wondering if it's possible to buy a cell phone in america without a contract and bring it back to Sweden and buy a sim card there and put it in the phone and use it normally or will i have to buy a phone here with a service and use it in Sweden i don't really know what works so please help me !!!!
