What are the spec? To be honist i was hoping that T-mobile would get an hts phone that like the hd2 but with android not windows.

HTC has officially announced that they are indeed bringing the HTC Desire to the US. Although no specific carrier has been announced, it's almost definite that the HTC Desire will be launched by U.S. Cellular, since they have mentioned earlier on this year that they plan on offering the Desire to its U.S. Cellular customers.

Two other carriers that will more than likely not see the HTC Desire is Sprint and Verizon due to the fact that they have already similar Android phones. HTC has said that they plan on launching the Desire in August of this year.
