update: I have taken this phone apart many time now and swabbed down the circuit board with rubbing alcohol more then once. I also bought a new bat. Its been quite active tonight after days of refusing to turn on. It keeps freezing or rebooting or complaining about power levels, but it does keep booting up. Kay thing is I tried doing a hard reset on the phone just to see if it would help. According to all the directions I followed all my data should be gone and returned to factory setting. But its all still on the phone... I got all the correct screens doing the hard reset. The phone seems to be running better since attempting the reset, but it didn't reset. Even my custom background is still on the home screen. Any suggestion?

Kay well I figured the problem is either my phone of battery. The phone seems to run fine when plugged in, it was on for an hour earlier. It shows the charging symbol, has the yellow light, and gets warm. But even when charging for an hour as soon as I unplug it, it gives the low battery warning and does a auto shut down. I tested the battery with a mutimeter and it is giving 3.55V and states on the battery it is 3.7V. So should I try a new battery or is it a problem with the phone sensing the battery level?

Well I got it all apart. There were 3 wire plug like things and another torx screw I had to remove. I don't know the first thing about circut boards, but it seems pretty straight forward that the right plug was for the screen the middle for uses unknown and the bottom for buttons... Anyway I swabed it carefully with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip as per advice online. Then reassembled it. Amazingly it turned on right away, meaning the alcohol didn't hurt anything and I got all those plugs back in correctly. It stayed on for about 10 minuets before what appears like freezing. The blue light kept blinking but it was unresponsive. So I pulled out the battery and let it sit a minuet. Then it booted back up just fine and stayed on for a while before losing power. Its still not 100%, but better then before. Something to do with the battery or some power sensor I think. According to the phone my battery can't hold a charge for more then 15 minuets. According to my meter both the Amps and voltage is at what is should be for a fully charged battery. Grrrrrr.....

So my Dash got wet... like really wet. I read the sicky on this site. It has been in and out of rice for a while now and left in warm places. I got the back cover off, not the battery cover but the cover held in by the 6 torx screws. The 3 wet sensors are all red/pink, so yeah. The problem is getting the phone to turn on... I've made some calls and texts from it, but it randomly turns off. Either it will suddenly go black or it will shutdown like normal, but I didn't tell it too. If I keep pushing buttons it stays alive, its when I let the screen go dark it likes to turn off. Then it won't turn on 90% of the time. Is their any thing more I can try to save it? It seems water free. Its dry inside and all the water damage has left the LCD screen. Are there any deep cleaning methods I can try on it? Also is there any way to get the circuit board all the way out of the phone so I can clean it? If all fails I have to go back to my Nokia 6133 until my contract is up and they give me a new phone.
