Since you are located in the Netherlands, this means your network providers use the 2100MHz band for 3G connectivity. The version of HTC HD2 with 2100MHz is the T8585 (EU version). If you plan to travel outside of Europe check this GSM coverage map for information on coverage in other areas. Other variants of the HD2 include the following:

HD2 T9193 - 850/2100MHz 3G for use on Telstra's network in Australia and also in some parts of the USA where 850 is used.

    HD2 For T-Mobile USA
    - Specific to the T-mobile USA network where the 1700/AWS 3G band is used.

All versions of the HD2 are quad band voice, so calling won't be a problem anywhere you travel. I hope this helps.

Im in NJ will the HD2 Telstra work here
& Wil I be able to get the 3g speed of Att network

Where can I buy the Testra in USA

    Thanks for your Help

I really want the HD2 but since it is an expensive phone I don't want to buy the wrong one. If after I buy it I will be told it cannot work or the 3g does not work in my country.

As I see there is the HD2 t8585 and the HD2 t9193 first of all, what's the difference between them?

I'm from the Netherlands Antilles, Curacao and here we have to service provider: www(dot)uts(dot)an

I really want to buy the phone but will the phone work in my country?

If I buy the HD2 now and I want to go to study in the Netherlands (Europe) in the future will the phone work there? (because after investing so much money in a phone I really want it to work there in Europe till I go live there)

Can I buy the T-Mobile version or the one with the T-Mobile carrier, unlock it and use it? Or you recommend another version? (t8585, t9193)

Please if I didn't ask the questions correctly or you didn't understood them please let me know.
