I've actually thought about this myself on several occasions (usually when I'm sick!) and I'm sure it is possible although, I'm not sure if mercury is still used and if so, then they'd have to have mercury, or crystals somewhere in the phone amd it may interfere with transmissions...but it is a cool idea!

Is there any application for iphone made by Apple Company that will check a human temperature? This maybe very interesting because iphones have direct contact on our skin and maybe this will be possible to check our body temperature?
