I think some hardware problem in your mobile it is better to contact your local Nokia service center. For more info Nokia 3120 Classic Orange Mobile Phones: | Best Mobile Phone | Mobile Phones latest news, tips and reviews

I am giving it a full charge tonight. Provider is Cingular. I do need it as my work calls for vibrate mode (can not have it ringing in office). I have found a local guy who repairs phones and I will give him a call on Wednesday.

I guess no one else has had this type of problem.

I doubt the battry would cause this. Does it still do it at full charge? If it is that important you could replace the phone with something inexpensive off ebay. What service provider do you use, BTW?

    Thanks for your reply.

I had actually done that (it is 1 month beyond warrenty). The tech at the store, did take it apart and look at the vibrating mechanism and stated it to be fine. When he put it back together, naturally it worked fine. Then the next time a call came in, it did not work. This has happened three times. I have 6 months to go on my plan so a new phone would cost several $$$$.

My feeling is that I am stuck with it unless I want to put out the $$$$ now.

I keep thnking that something may have become loose but who knows. Would a battery becoming bad do this?

Take it back to the store and demonstrate the problem to them. Make sure they understand and see the problem, not just open it up and say "yup, it has a battery and 15 buttons." Then, if it is under warrenty politely demand that they fix or replace it.

    Hello!
My Nokia 3120 has stopped vibrating. When I remove the battery and faceplate, put it back together, it will vibrate one time and then stop again. I hear a bizzing but the phone itself does not vibrate. I took it to the store and then said all of the parts look good. Any ideas?
