The best way to download ringtones is that you can download applications and visit websites that provide free ringtones on the internet like Zedge, Hidden Content , Tones7

The more links the better. I'm looking for chime, ring, sound effect sounds rather than jokes or rap songs.

Hidden Content - Not only can you make unlimited free ringtones, but it has a built in YouTube downloader so you can use Music Videos to create ringtones!

Hidden Content - A collection of free audio tools, Mp3, Wav, M4r editors and various other software you might need to convert audio for your phone.

Are there any sites that don't require registration, log in or other such info? One of them says it's free, but they still require a credit card number. Not a chance...

I'm looking to download a dive horn ringtone (all the tones T Mobile provides are too quiet to hear. Plus, I like submarines). I can download to my computer but not to the phone unless it's an "official" T-Mobile ring tone.

Zedge.net is my first choice when it comes to ringtones.
They've got some wide selection of new and old tones there.
