    Hello everyone,

I just got a new LG Prime and I am confused about how the alarm operates on the phone. My first question is whether or not it can set an alarm to go off if the phone is powered off. With my old phone I could set an alarm to wake me up at 7:00am, turn the phone off for the night, and it would promptly go off at 7:00am. So far with the LG Prime I have only been able to get an alarm to go off if the phone is powered on. Does it just have to stay on but go into that "sleep" mode for the alarm to operate? Are new phones like this designed to constantly stay "on" and just manage its own power consumption when not in use (by sleeping)?

Also the included manual does not explain what the other "alarm" is that pops up if you tap the clock in the middle of your home screen. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Thanks!
