You can try this one:

*#7780* > resets your settings
*#7370* > resets your phone (deletes all your files / reformat your phone)

if this wont work go to:

MENU > SETTINGS > RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS > (it'll ask you for your security code/ lock code ) > enter your code ( by default its 12345)

if this wont work just send it for repair no other options.

Yes I realize I need to reset it somehow... the question is how? If it is having so many freezing problems... there must be a way to hard reset it on my own, people can't possibly be sending it for repair every time it freezes. I will probably resell it once it working... its worth nothing frozen. I keep posting on different forums looking for someone to tell me how to reset it... but no one answers and Nokia just tells me to send it to a repair shop.

Lots of bad reviews about this phone and freezing seems to be a common issue on this phone. Maybe try doing factory reset to restore it to the original settings but make sure to back up all your data

I have a Nokia 7705 Twist (Verizon branded, CDMA) and its not activated on a network. I got it used... it will not boot completely and freezes. I can't enter any codes or get into any menus and have to turn off by removing the battery. Does anyone know if there is a way to 'repair' or reinstall software on the phone or do some kind of reset from a PC... no experience on repairing phones myself but any ideas if this could be a fixable issue? I've been emailing Nokia but they are giving me absolutely ridiculous answers (the kind of answers you'd give if you don't even read the email... or know what a CDMA phone is).
