Are you sure it can do Skype ? I have been reading that voice Skype will only work w/ Verison service. Thanks so much

You can try looking at the SE Xperia X10i. I am currently using one which I got factory unlocked form timtechs. You need a factory unlocked phone so you can use it with any GSM carriers all over the world since you said that you will be travelling. Another plus point for this phone is the large screen display of 4.0 inches, both Wifi and 3G capable, GPS, fast processor and very responsive screen.. The only thing is it doesn't have a keyboard like you want but it's definitely easy to use

I currently have a reliable Nokia flip-phone that is just fine for USA. I have been an ATT customer forever (thru many buy-outs, etc) and I am out of contract now. I am traveling to Spain and Morocco in Oct and need a new smart phone for doing biz in my absence. I get calls from Europe, Mexico, USA, UK, Morocco.

Here is what I need pls advice what phone:

Big easy to read screen
WiFi capable
Inexpensive phone calls rec'd and sent from USA and from Spain, Mexico and Morocco to USA mostly.
Skype calls to & from same countries
real keyboard--easy to use
browser with multiple windows
copy/paste
tether ability for laptop use
fast processor
GPS

here is what I do not care about in a phone:
Facebook
My Space
Twitter
Videos
Music
Camera

Pls give me your advice
