This phone looks fantastic. However, a 68-year-old man like me still perceives it complicated to use. One look at the phone and I feel intimated already. I’m sure; my fellow seniors feel the same way as I do and will look for a much simpler phone.

The way I see it, most of the seniors are not attracted to glaring phones. The phone’s built-in camera does not look attractive to us as well. The ideal phone for the elderly is simple to manipulate and presents substantial features—no more, no less. And I, including my colleagues, find those characteristics in Just5 phone. Just5 phone is presented with fantastic colors yet it doesn’t look like intimidating. Just5 phone is also packed with substantial features such as S.O.S. button, flashlight, big and clear keypad, and F.M radio. Much more, all of these features are made available to us by Just5 phone for only $119.9. That amount goes without contract so this phone is really perfect for us seniors.

You may search the company website of Just5 using Google.

Samsung has a new upcoming handset named, C3060R and is geared more toward the elderly. The C306R has a keypad that is illuminated and has big buttons that makes it easy to operate. Samsung has also went the extra mile to include a special operating system that is designed to meet the needs of older people, including a larger font size and simple menus.
Other features include a 2.2-inch TFT display with 176 x 220 resolution, a 1.3MP camera, an FM radio and an SOS key.
Price for the C3060 will be about $190.00 and will be available in Russia starting In June.
