@ D.Dark- I agree with you on this. Like most people, I used to think that the phone with the most number of features is the best choice but after browsing through different phone selections on timtechs I later decided to settle for an iPhone 4, why?, because I love it's design and simplicity and I am having fun with it and it's got all I needed in a phone. I think that's the most important thing to consider when getting a phone and not the most popular model, not the one which your friends insist for you to buy but the one that works for your needs best.

sometimes, the bigger the phone, the more you're beginning to think, do i really need a bigger phone where i can't even use most of its features? I'd rather have a smaller phone and have all the most important functions, and there it is all about..

You're not crazy, the Aria is a nice phone. It just depends what you need it for. I like the big screen of the Captivate - it's not very heavy either which was a selling point for me. But sometimes it does feel a bit awkward in my pocket. I wouldn't give up the screen for anything though, its really nice to see webpages and videos on a nice sized screen.

No I don't believe so. If you really want a phone and it has all you need in a phone then that's the phone for you.

Well I guess what you can do is.. play with both phones in diff day.... on the 3rd day im sure you will be able to decide which one to get... for me... the latest and greatest has much more appeal

all that matters is that you know what phone is best for you, one phone might work for other people but not for you so go for the one that you feel is worth your penny and one that will make you feel really happy

I am ready to get a new smartphone on AT&T and I really want an Android phone. I understand that the new captivate is faster, brighter, more features, etc. but it is also so freaking big! I really like the size and feel of the HTC Aria. For my purposes I think it will more than meet all my needs. But since they cost about the same am I just being stupid for not getting the latest and greatest? That's how it feels sometimes.
