    Yeah it sure is annoying. Apps routinely get vetoed from the app store that "mimic" functionality the phone has (even if they improve it) because it "might confuse users". Thanks for the tip on the app, it sure looks great!

    Yes you have to jail break the phone. Not hard to do and they show you how on their website.
    They have a lot of other features besides the one I needed. Worth every penny of $10, which haven't paid yet as they let you try it free for 3 days.

    I had posted this on the Apple & AT&T site and they immediately deleted it. LOL
    I hate the control they have over their phones. GREED!

    Cool app - does this also let you set the vibration alert settings you wanted? I know a few other people who want that functionality also. Must you jailbreak to install this app?

    AT&T or Apple tries to restrict what you can buy for whatever reasons. I could NOT find the alert app I needed on Apples or AT&T's sites, so after I did the jailbreak, I found the app I needed.

    This is a fantastic program for deaf folks myself. I've tried it today and LOVE it.
    For the life of me, I don't know why Apple & AT&T don't sell it?
