The Imei number can be found at the back side of the phone where the battery is placed. It's 15 digit numbers so you can't miss it. I also didn't know where to find it before until I had my Blackberry phone unlocked by timtechs and one of their representative taught me where I can find it.

That would be great except that the phone has been deactivated. However, the IMEI for this particular model is located under the battery. Don't know if this applies to other models.

My son recently gave me his Samsung Rant. I want to change providers and I know I have to get an unlock code -- but I can't find the IMEI number. Please help!!
