If you hit your home button there is a menu item labeled "Add", hit that and you will be taken to a menu where you can browse to the ap that you want to have a shortcut for, and click the checkmark next to it, then click done.

This phone does not have to be returned it is a very useful phone at an accesible price capable of running a large number of poerful j2me apps.

I agree with nvguy, BUT if you want to make the LG Rumor Touch work for you, Howard Forums has great resources for this, so does Hubpages with the tag "LG Rumor Touch Hack Central", and there are a few other good answers and info at Yahoo Answers.

I had the LG Rumor TOuch and I recently bought the Samsung Intercept. There is no contest between the two whatsoever. The Intercept is superior in every way.

If you can though, totally take the Touch back and buy the intercept. You will love yourself for it.

If you bought it at Target they give you 30 days to try it, if so take it back and get the Samsung intercept Android phone.
    Very Cool Phone!!!
