But Vodafone Portugal will launch the HTC Desire HD here in Portugal? I know he unlocked already being advertised in some stores ... But here will be locked to Vodafone in Portugal?

The HTC Desire HD will soon be launched by Vodafone UK. Not only will Vodafone launch the HTC Desire HD for the UK, but they also plan on launching the handset in Australia. The features of the HTC Desire HD for Vodafone UK are:
Android 2.2 Froyo, Sense UI, a 4.3 inch WVGA display, 8MP camera, Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, 1GHz processor and more.

Being that the HTC Desire HD is a high end device, it's probably safe to say that the carrier will offer the phone free on certain plans.
