My brother has an old Verizon based Samsung i700 that he's been using as just a PDA (no active phone service). Recently he started having problems with it. It won't actually boot anymore. It powers on, shows the startup screen, the screen blinks white once, then displays the startup screen again (without the MITS logo in the lower left) and then it just hangs there with the blue light at the top of the phone blinking continuously.

Anyone have any idea how to reflash this thing at this point?
