    Never mind... finally found it.

    Settings/Ringer Settings/Normal Edit/Select Messages/Scroll down to Ringtone/Options/Change/Select the ringtone you want/Save/exit

    The Samsung manual was totally useless in finding this as was the Provider help desk.

    I've been trying to figure out how to change the ring tone for incoming message alerts from the insipid and hard-to-hear one that's installed by Samsung (or by the provider?). No problem changing ring tones for calls, just messages.

    Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?
