i purchased this case, (link below) it protects the iPad pretty good from daily use/handling, looks pretty cool... a flat black, and can be folded into angle or upright position for keyboard use or screen display. Can it protect it from a floor impact, i don't know, i do know i wouldn't throw my iPad anywhere, but consciously place it. (desk,table,car)

I want to but a silicon cover for my Apple ipad,Becase i am not careful and often throw the ipad carelessly to the floor. The ipad has a little breakage.
