Well, just so you know, and everyone else does, I got the Optimus the other day, and I LOVE IT!! Its a nice phone, very slick, and light weight. The Network is a little slow, but much better than I had on my Samsung Code. The Andorid Market runs awesome, and its so nice to have Android again!

I am in South Florida as well, so I am familiar with all of that. The Virgin Mobile phone looks great, and I believe their Android phone is on sale at Bestbuy.. here is the link
Virgin Mobile - Samsung Intercept No-Contract Mobile Phone - Dark Gray - SAMSUNG INT, 1443662, 9935936_&cp=1&lp=2 it says its only on sale throught today, at 189.99.. but regular price is 230, same as the Optimus

Where I live ( South FLorida ) Metro Pcs coverage is excellent, no problems at all. I have owned Metro now for almost a year and I am very happy with their service.

I used to own a t-Mobile which had great internet service but in certain areas I would not get reception. Before that I owned Boost which was ok, but there were A LOT of places I didn't have signal.

I just went to the Virgin Mobile website and seen this Android Phone
Samsung Intercept Android Phone | Virgin Mobile

Looks good and they have a $40 rate plan ) + tax I'm assuming wouldn't be too bad ( maybe around $50 )

    Time to do some research......

Yeah, i can agree that they don't have a great network or anything, but around my neck of the woods, they are pretty reliable and the internet service isn't to bad on their phones. I as well have a Samsung Code, and have been happy with it, but have been longing to get a phone with Android or a Blackberry.

We also have Boost CDMA and Virgin Mobile (both Sprint network backhauls) available here, but I have been very happy with Metro.

Personally, I would not want to by the Craft just because of the "4G" aspect, weather or not they have 4G here in my area (not sure, don't care honestly) because I don't think that phone is all that impressive.

If you want better phones, why don't you look at Virgin Mobile, they have a couple newer phones with Sprint Service?

Don't get to happy as this phone still runs on their slow ( very slow ) network. On the flip side to that they just came out with the Samsung Craft which runs on 4g ( only certain states ) which would be better at least internet wise.

The only problem to that is it is not a smartphone and lacks many features. I am currently a Samsung Code owner which I think is a very outdated phone. Until Metro gets their network up in running all of these phone are really not worth it.

One thing I forgot to mention though is that the Lg Optimus and Samsung Craft now have wifi, so if your home or anywhere where there is an available connection that you can sign into you will be good.

Metro is taking baby steps forward while other companies ( phone wise ) have lapped them twice.
