    Final Answer.

The Samsung Genio Slide B5310 is NOT compatible with the Parrot CK3100. This information is direct from the Tech Dudes at Parrot.

NOT SOLVED - The fault redevelops and once again freezes if you pair it with the hands free kit. This is definitely a middle-ware/software fault on the phone. Anyone got an answer? Pretty Please

    SOLVED !

Problem: Phone will not pair with device. Possibly not asking for a Pin Code.

Answer: Check device has not previously been paired with similar Phone. If so wipe the device's memory of earlier phone. Better yet, remove all previous pairings.

I got a samsung Genio Slide gt-b5310 from Xmas. It works fine except for one MAJOR problem. I cannot get it to pair with any in-car hands free kit.
    To pair should be easy.
    1. Let the phone find the device. (not a problem)
    2. Select the device (not a problem)
    3. Enter the device's code (PROBLEM)

Instead of asking me for a code after step 2 the phone immediately starts trying to pair with the hands free kit then says "unable to pair" and offers to "try again" In short. Step 3 never happens.

I will be so very grateful if someone can solve this for me.
