The International version of the Galaxy S, GT-i9000, will be getting an update to Android 2.2.1. This update is considered Froyo and will fix several bug problems that the Galaxy S (GT-i9000) may be having. One of the fixes seems to have an impact on the general speed of the Galaxy S, in which it tends to speed it up.

Sweden is the only country as of right now, in which this update applies to. Swedish customers with the Samsung Galaxy S will have to use the Samsung's Kies desktop software.
