There have been several rumors about HTC coming out with a Facebook mobile device and how it looks as if Facebook is denying this rumor. Dan Rose, Facebook's head of business development, says that they have no plans whatsoever in announcing or producing a Facebook branded phone. Dan Rose had this to say:

“This is really just another example of a manufacturer who has taken our public APIs (application programming interfaces) and integrated them into their device in an interesting way. The rumors around there being something more to this HTC device are overblown.”


That doesn't mean that HTC is not working on a deeper integration for Facebook on it's smartphones, it just won't have the Facebook branded to them.
