    Hey everyone,

I've been losing my mind over trying to figure this out, I'm about ready to throw this laptop and phone out the window.

I just got a Samsung Focus for my birthday from my girlfriend and its driving me crazy. I'm trying to connect it (somehow) to my computer so I can put music and pictures on it. First of all, I thought I had to use Zune to do the transfers, and that wouldn't work. So I called the Samsung Technical Support line and the guy told me I had to use Kies for transfering. So, thinking I had the solution, I download Kies and nothing.

The problem with both Zune and Kies is that either program won't recognize my phone being plugged in. I'm using the original cord that came with my phone, and the USB slot works for my iPod, so I think we can rule out those. I've tried rebooting, uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting my phone, plugging it in when its off, rebooting again, everything. I don't know what to do, and like I said, I'm getting pretty mad lol.

If anyone has the solution to this seemingly ever growing problem, please help me out.
    Thanks guys,

    Ross

    P.S. - I'm running 32 bit, Windows Vista Home Premium, SP2.
