This happened to me a few weeks ago. I put some rice in a sandwich baggie and took the battery out of the phone. Place the battery and the phone in the bag of rice and seal it. leave the bag out in the sun. The rice pulled the water right out of my samsung caliber touch phone. good luck to you

    Hello all!
I have a Samsung Sch-U350 by Verizon. And about an hour ago, my phone accidentally dropped into standing water for about 5 seconds. Not long enough for the thing to not turn on again, but long enough that I think water affected the inside of the phone. The front screen is slightly discolored, and now the main screen is simply white.

I have tried everything to dry it out, (towel, smacking it so the water comes out of all cracks, hair dryer, etc.) but same results (Although it did seem to go back to normal for a few minutes before spazzing out) and unfortunately I don't have a screwdriver big small enough to take it apart.

BUT. I have over 300 pictures on there that I just can't lose. I want to take the SIM card out, but it's not under the battery... anyone know where it is/how to get it out or perhaps salvage my phone? HELP!

    Thank ye in advance.
