    Hi,

This may be a dumb question but since I'm not familiar with A2DP I have to ask

I currently have software that runs on a pocket pc (Windows CE) and will be moving to Windows Mobile 6.5.

I have found a phone that will will work for testing but have a question about its Bluetooth...

On the spec sheet it says: Bluetooth A2DP

I understand this is an advanced audio protocol ...

My software connects to a standard (non-headset) Bluetooth 1.0 / 2,0 device (medical equipment).

Is the Bluetooth A2DP able to connect to standard Bluetooth devices and just not use the advanced audio stuff or is the A2DP protocol only going to work with devices like a headset?

Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

    Jeff
