    The short of it is no. Although I don't think this should really be a deterrant to experimentation, and research. I for one, wouldn't mind being able to use net10's plans on an unlocked phone of my choice. I know this has been happening with sister company straight talk - one of their smart phones does allow for you to remove the sim, and then just insert it into any unlocked GSM phone.

    Does anyone know if the NET10 SIM can be used in any unlocked GSM cell phone. That is to say, can I just plug my NET10 SIM card into any GSM cell phone and have it work without paying fees or having a contract.
