The demand for the 2 took me by surprise, I never thought sales would be this crazy. I was at the Apple store yesterday looking at the verizon iPhone, they told me when they got to the store yesterday to open, there was a line already in which they had to inform the people they didn't recieve any 2's, and to call the next because they didn't know for if they were getting any in.

Of course I realize there would be a demand for the product, and maybe some lines, but hysteria....craziness... People in lines for two days....and at the end of opening day the shelves were emptied... The NYC store 7200 the first day

Someone told me a lady sold her place in line for 900 dollars!!! If that person who purchases the place in line and bought the cheapest iPad, they would end-up spending over 1400 dollars for the 2...speak about needing a Apple/iPad fix...lol
